Brilliant Bees

Our inquiry topic in Term 4 is all about bees.  We are focusing on bees as they are a very important link in; and a great example of;  a Plant - Animal - Human relationship.  To set the scene we tasted some honey, talked to a buddy about what we knew about bees and honey and listened to a story about a greedy bee.  The honey we tasted was from 2 different jars, both taken from the same hive one year apart, but quite different in colour.  The children are not sure why they are such different colours.  We have already set up a nature table and a begun a display on our wall.  You will see on our display wall we have already recorded what we know about bees, what we want to know about bees, and how we will find out.  We have recorded this information on a KWHL chart.
